Kongens Nytorv (deutsch: Neuer Platz des Königs) ist ein Platz im Zentrum von Kopenhagen in Dänemark. Der Platz liegt zwischen der Hauptgeschäftsstraße Strøget und dem Kanal von Nyhavn (deutsch: Neuer Hafen), einem der malerischsten Orte in Kopenhagen.
Der Platz wurde 1670 von König Christian V. angelegt und im Zentrum mit einer Reiterstatue dieses Königs, kostümiert als Imperator, geschmückt, ein Werk des Bildhauers Abraham César Lamoureux.
Zahlreiche offizielle Gebäude umgeben diesen Platz, darunter das Königliche Theater, der Charlottenborg-Palast (heute der Sitz der Königlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste), die Botschaft von Frankreich, das Hotel d'Angleterre und das große Kaufhaus Magasin du Nord.
