Start your bike ride through forests and orchards, from where you can admire magnificent landscapes. After passing through the village of Les Condémines, discover Isérables, the little village frozen in time, perched at an altitude of 1,116m. Take a short stop to immerse yourself in this picturesque place before returning to Haute-Nendaz. On the way back, enjoy an incredible view of the Alps of Vaud and Bern.
Start from the "Centre Sportif de Haute-Nendaz" to go to Isérables following the VTT (MTB) 131 signs. Begin your outing by taking the chemin des Bornes to reach Haute-Nendaz village. At the crossing with the main road, go down to your left for 200m. Just before the big contour of les Crêtes Blanches, take the road on your left. 200m further, head into the forest, following the road on your right. Pedal as far as the village of Condémines, then follow the road in the direction of Isérables. Pass through this magnificent village and continue along the route des Crettaux to reach the Pont de la Scie. After crossing this bridge, go up the steeply winding road as far as the crossroads. Take the road on your left in the direction of Nendaz. In order to reach the resort, continue your tour on the asphalted main road.
A regular bus service operates to Nendaz from Sion train station. The bus journey takes about 30 minutes.
Nendaz is situated 15 km from the motorway exit, roughly 20 minutes from Sion. Take the A9 motorway to Sion and then the exit to Sion-Ouest towards Nendaz. You will then have a 20-minute drive following the "Nendaz” road signs to reach the centre of the resort.
4 car parks are available in Haute-Nendaz. Follow the car-park routeing.
We recommend: bike in excellent working order, helmet, gloves and bell, clothing suitable for the weather (always carry a waterproof), food and drink.
