The Zumdahl estate is a former manor surrounded by moats in the town of Geilenkirchen. It is located in the Würmtal, on the L 42, between the towns of Kogenbroich and Nirm.
The history of the house is largely in the dark. Information about this is sparse. Gut Zumdahl is an estate that probably dates back to the 15th to 16th centuries. The house of Dahll, which is depicted as the property of a Mr. Graass in the Codex Welser of 1723, could be identical with Zumdahl.
