The Eberswalde Waggonaufzug is a platform for railway wagons located in Eberswalde-Kupferhammer. Wagon elevators are very rare technical devices because they are too slow for the proper functioning of a railway.
There was once a horseshoe nail factory in the Kupferhammer district of Eberswalde, but of its once extensive factory buildings, only a wagon elevator and the factory chimney survived. The site is located at Kupferhammerweg 6/7, bordered to the north by the Finow Canal, to the east by the railway embankment of the Berlin-Szczecin Railway and to the southwest by the Kupferhammerweg itself.
