The Teutoburgia Estate, also known as the Garden City of Teutoburgia, is a listed colliery settlement in the Börnig district of Herne.
The workers' settlement was built on the initiative of the Teutoburgia trade union at the same time as the Teutoburgia colliery in 1909 and was extended until 1923. The executing architect Berndt had designed it according to Ebenezer Howard's English garden city idea with apartment buildings, large open spaces, green spaces, outdoor seating areas and gardens.
