Ideal starting point for the tour is the parking lot at Rheinaue in Walsum. From there, the tour leads downstream along the Rhine dike and then through the floodplain landscape. Further on, it passes through the settlement of Wehofen and numerous green and park areas and finally back towards the Rhine over the HOAG industrial railway track.
