Start of the tour is in the middle of Kirchhundem, right at the town hall. From there, you follow a well-developed cycle path along Flaper Str. through the idyllic village of Flape to the outskirts of Emlinghausen.
From there, an asphalted farm road leads up to the remarkable, over 500-year-old pilgrimage church Mariä Heimsuchung Kohlhagen. From here, a short detour to the picturesque Landhotel Gut Ahe is worthwhile, ideal for a rest, as you have completed almost half of the tour here.
The return journey leads through Brachthausen, Wirme, and Emlinghausen further on the same cycle path to Kirchhundem - but this time it is always a leisurely downhill ride.
