The "Herzwege" have their origin in the spa area of Bad Laasphe. They represent a modern health training within the holistic consideration of body, mind, and soul and serve as movement therapy and relaxation training through hiking at various difficulty levels. The classification was based on the gradient conditions and provides the following orientation: Green = slight incline / Blue = moderate incline / Red = steep incline on short sections. The paths are not typical long hiking trails, but rather short and attractive hiking paths that can motivate everyone to compensate for lack of exercise.
