The walking path leads through the small-scale structured landscape over partly steep mountains and through deep valleys, through beautiful beech wood forests and meadows. In many places, especially at the Altarstein, magnificent views open up into the Begatal valley all the way to the Teutoburg Forest. The path requires some fitness due to the ascents. The Sternberg Castle and the play and rest area at the Schwelentrup stable barn invite you to linger.
