This route leads along the most beautiful paths through the Ruhr Heights. Immerse yourself in nature. A hilly route through Essen. This route goes over unpaved paths. However, they are in excellent condition when the weather is dry. You can start this route anywhere. The castle (Schloss Baldeney) is definitely a good starting point (and rest point). Take a moment to stop and meditate with a view of a monastery: Kloster Werden. No car? No problem, as this route can be reached by public transport. Look around carefully. Otherwise, you'll miss some gems along this route. Take your time for this route. There is little to add to this excellent route.
