At Vertek, you can see the Urenkopfturm. The first and last kilometer are easily accessible forest paths on paved roads in between.
One kilometer before we dive into the forest, we have a serious calf burner, also a good warm-up for the rest of the hike.
At the Urenkopfturm, you can climb the tower (30m) to enjoy a beautiful panorama.
Then we descend towards Haslach.
