Walking Route - Most Beautiful

Parking is available at Plaza del Carmen, where the walk begins. Walk along Calle Romero Pozo to Plaza de las Carmelitas (Plaza del Ayuntamiento), where the tourist office is located to pick up a city map. There is also a sheet with the opening hours of various attractions.

Between the two hills (Parque Jardin de los Remedios) and that of the castle, one must return through a valley anyway.  
The castle is reached from the north side, and the return route is also via the north. Paths above are closed to walkers.

The walk back from the castle goes through the narrow staircase streets of the old town. The Plaza de la Constitution is being completely reconstructed.
