This path leads to the emblematic site of the Cars. These remains are just one of the many testimonies to the development of the area during the Gallo-Roman period. You will also pass through hamlets steeped in history: contrasting with Ars and its rich heritage (bridge, bread oven, cross…), the cottages of Variéras symbolize the renewal and creativity of the Plateau (these buildings are not open to visitors).
