Lugnaquilla is the highest peak of the Wicklow Mountains range and the highest in Ireland outside County Kerry. It is a 925-metre (3,035 ft) tall mountain in County Wicklow, Ireland. Informally referred to as one of the Irish Munros, it is classed as a Furth by the Scottish Mountaineering Club. A "Furth" or "Furth Munro" is a mountain or top over 3,000 feet (914.4 m) high in the British Isles. Traditionally a mountain only qualifies as a Furth if it has a drop of at least 30 metres (98 feet) on all sides.
