From the old customs office, Venlosesteenweg 408, 3640 Kessenich, Belgium
In Belgium, park at the old customs office in Kessenich, and immediately cross the border into the Netherlands. First, it goes to the white village of Thorn, then on to Wessem along the Meuse. Over Sluis Heel, then we arrive in Roermond, heading north to Beesel, where we cross the Meuse back to Kessel. Back along the Meuse but now to the south through Hanssum and Neer, further to the nature reserve Leudal, we pass the visitor center in Haelen. Total ride 68 km, nice day trip.
