The northern route of 12 km consists relatively of a lot of asphalt and goes over wide paths, including a section of tank track. The first kilometers alternately pass through small patches of forest and meadows. After the cycle path along the canal, there follows a nice piece of single-track.
At the northernmost point (road restaurant de Wildenberg), the northern loop route connects to the mountain bike routes in South East Brabant.
