The name of the route refers to the so-called peat areas. A hiking trail along the Jaap van Dijk path that leads around the moor forest. You will encounter interesting plants and animals. At the end of the forest, you will reach the shore landscapes of the Leekstermeer. There is an observation tower here. There is a second route of 2 kilometers that can be followed as a continuation of the first route. Waterproof footwear is recommended.
