From the parking lot at the restaurant or recreation park, you can walk straight into the recreation area of the Reeuwijk woods. But from the parking lot, one of the many lakes (the surf pond) is already clearly visible and invites you for a nice walk or bike ride. On weekends, it can get quite busy with recreational visitors, but during the week there are plenty of quiet moments to enjoy this natural area. A large part along the lake, but also a large part through the forest area.
