El agua-castillo Kruikenburg es ahora el corazón de la escuela Sint-Jozefinstituut. El nombre Kruikenburg proviene de las jarras que antes estaban en varias torres del castillo. Estas jarras estaban esculpidas en piedra rugosa. Encima había un veleta. Hace unos años, el castillo fue dotado de una nueva jarra. En la torre sobre la puerta de entrada hay, como referencia a las antiguas jarras, una jarra dorada provista de un veleta. El castillo, al igual que muchos otros castillos medievales, tiene forma de U. Esta U está formada por tres alas que rodean un patio interior. En las esquinas hay torres redondas. Solo la torre de entrada es cuadrada.
