Dans ce vaste espace agricole que le Neerpedebeek traverse, en bordure d’une prairie, une source alimente une petite mare dans laquelle des vaches viennent s’abreuver, à proximité de la rue Scherdemael et d’une ferme. Le trop-plein de la mare est canalisé sous le chemin agricole pour ensuite refaire surface et s’écouler dans le caniveau de la voirie sur quelques mètres, avant de rejoindre l’égout. Un projet de la commune devrait permettre de revaloriser cette eau de source.
