Ce belvédère avec banc offre un panorama très agréable sur Dinant, la Meuse et la citadelle.
Il est à environ 100 mètres au-dessus de la Meuse.
On peut y accéder à pied via la promenade locale 13 "Chemin des Pélerins" , mais aussi via le GR125-126 et le Camino de Santiago.
La route bleue de VTT passe également ici (à peu près).
