La piste cyclable 'Explorer à Laakdal' permet aux cyclistes de découvrir quelques-uns des plus beaux endroits de Laakdal. Au départ, vous vous écartez de l'itinéraire de la jonction et suivez la route en direction de la jonction 51. Vous passerez ensuite devant l'ancienne scierie à vapeur (Heistraat), un site unique chargé d'histoire industrielle. En passant par la lisière des zones forestières de Gerhagen et Helschot, vous entrez dans la réserve naturelle de Trichelbroek après le nœud 89. Depuis la cabane d'observation des oiseaux, vous avez une vue magnifique sur la région. Peu après, vous passerez devant la chapelle Saint-Bavon.
