Très belle promenade dans une réserve peu fréquentée, à cheval sur les communes de Diest et Tessenderloo, à la frontière entre la Campine anversoise et le Limbourg. Bois, prairies, champs, des béliers et moutons en liberté, de superbes paysages de bruyère, et une petite île discrète, non mentionnée sur les cartes de promenade, où l'on trouve un étrange oiseau...

Nombreux bancs et tables de Pick Nick sur le trajet. Un fermier glacier qui vaut également le détour.
