À la lisière de la forêt de Vijlener, à une altitude d'environ 160 à 180 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer, se dresse le hameau de Camerig. C'est l'endroit idéal pour une vue imprenable sur la vallée de la Geul, les Ardennes orientales et le nord de l'Eifel. Le paysage autour de Camerig a été récompensé par la Fondation Nature et Environnement avec cinq étoiles. Camerig est également un bon endroit pour admirer de belles maisons à colombages du XVIIIe siècle.
