Il Museo archeologico di Candia è un istituto per la conoscenza della civiltà minoica, nonché uno dei più grandi e importanti musei della Grecia. Si trova in via Xanthoudidou 2, al centro della città di Candia.
Il museo fu istituito nel 1883 come semplice collezione di antichità. Un edificio apposito fu costruito dal 1904 al 1912 per l'interessamento di due archeologi cretesi, Iosif Hatzidakis e Stefanos Xanthoudidis. Dal 1937 iniziarono i lavori sull'attuale edificio, progettato, con criteri antisismici, dal celebre architetto greco Patroklos Karantinos. Il museo fu danneggiato nel corso della seconda guerra mondiale, ma la collezione sopravvisse intatta e fu nuovamente resa accessibile al pubblico dal 1952. Venne aggiunta una nuova ala nel 1964.
