Il centro veterinario di Messines, VetMessines, è stato fondato nel 2012 dal veterinario Carla Guerreiro. Situato nella regione di Barrocal, nell'Algarve, tra le montagne e il mare, in una zona in cui aumenta l'apprezzamento degli animali da compagnia. Situato all'ingresso del villaggio di Sao Bartolomeu de Messines, dispone di un comodo parcheggio e di servizi moderni e ben attrezzati.
Il team è formato permanentemente da un veterinario e da due infermieri e, se necessario, è assistito da un veterinario esterno con una specializzazione specifica. La preoccupazione più importante della squadra è la salute e il benessere dei clienti, particolarmente attenti a un buon servizio al pubblico, grande impegno e professionalità.
