Aan de kerk van Ramskapelle hangt een "schettekot" waar levende giften werden geborgen - meestal duiven, eenden, ganzen, konijnen - die na de hoogmis per opbod verkocht werden met opbrengst voor de armen van de parochie. Rond de kerk is een Ommegang.
