Het Vlaams Parlement is de parlementaire vergadering van de Vlaamse Gemeenschap en het Vlaams Gewest, en zetelt in het Vlaams Parlementsgebouw in Brussel.Het Vlaams Parlement telt 124 leden die allen samen de Vlaamse Gemeenschap vormen. 118 leden daarvan zijn verkozen in het Vlaams Gewest, de andere zes zijn afkomstig uit het kiesgebied van het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest. Deze zes leden mogen uitsluitend stemmen over zaken betreffende de gemeenschapsmateries, aangezien het Vlaams Parlement geen gewestbevoegdheden kan uitoefenen in Brussel.
