Dumortierlaan z.nr. Heilig Hartkerk. Architecten J. en L. Viérin tekenen de plannen voor een neoromaanse kerk met rondbogen en parement metselwerk met stenen uit Nieuwpoort, gekenmerkt door stevige hoektoren. Hoofdaannemer was W. Decuypere (Knokke), die ook de aanpalende pastorie in de Heilig-Hartstraat bouwt. Inwijding op 24 juni 1935. Sober interieur in hetzelfde materiaal, met bepleisterd kruisgewelf. In het plantsoen voor de kerk, twee beelden, o.m. "Blik van licht", gesigneerd "Delporte n° 6".
