Nutskast, bekleed met een foto van één van de eerste verkeersongevallen in Izegem. Uit De Mandelbode van 5 maart 1932: “Donderdag had er aan de post eene botsing plaats tussen de auto van M. Gerome Vanlaecken uit Moorslede en deze van M. Windels, fabrikant uit stad. De auto komende uit de Roeselaarsestraat werd nog al erg beschadigd.” Op de foto herken je het Postgebouw op de hoek. Langs dit belangrijke kruispunt passeerde toen ook de tramlijn 330 tussen Ardooie en Wevelgem.
