Om de sterke troeven van Wildenburg toeristisch-recreatief op de kaart te zetten werd hier een nieuw pad ("optgemakpadje") en picknickplaats ingericht in 2024.
De plaats is ideaal als vertrekplaats voor een tochtje in het Landschapspark Bulskampveld. Dit pad maakt deel uit van de nieuwe fiets- en wandelverbinding van 1 kilometer richting de Polderdreef.
Hij ligt op de kruising van twee fiets- en wandelpaden: het nieuwe pad dat de dorpsrand ontsluit en de Steenovendreef die naar de Blauwhuisbossen en de woonwijk Vorsevijvers loopt. Ideaal dus als vertrekplaats voor wandelaars, fietsers, mountainbikers die het landschapspark Bulskampveld bezoeken.
