Dat deze steek gedrenkt is in historisch erfgoed maakt deze wandeling nogmaals duidelijk. Deze wandeling brengt je naar de plaats waar het oudste officiële documenten in het Nederlands over handelt. De schepenbrief van Bochoute is een oorkonde uit mei 1249.

Praktisch

Je start aan de kerk van Velzeke. Niet alleen praktisch om daar de wagen te parkeren, maar ook nog eens een historische plek om u tegen te zeggen.
