Het Ludwig-Leichhardt-Gymnasium is een voortgezet onderwijs in de vrije stad Cottbus. De school biedt les in de Japanse taal en uitwisselingsprogramma's met scholen in Japan, Canada en Australië.
Op besluit van de gemeenteraad van Cottbus werd het gebouw in de jaren '70 gebouwd tijdens de DDR. In 1975 werd in de oostelijke vleugel de Salvador-Allende-School ingewijd als 22e middelbare school, in de westelijke vleugel de Pablo-Neruda-School als 23e polytechnische middelbare school van de stad Cottbus. Beide instellingen vormden samen de Polytechnische Middelbare School Cottbus. In 1991 werden beide scholen omgevormd tot het vierde gymnasium Cottbus. Een sluiting kon in 2006 worden afgewend.
