Langs het pad zie je eigenaardige vormen op de kalskteenrotsen alsof iemand met veel kracht in de vingers kleine groeven heeft gemaakt door de rotsen vast te nemen. Geologen noemen deze rillen. Jammer genoeg geen mythologische krachten aan het werk hier. Rills zijn kleine oplossingsgroeven door oppervlakteblootstellingen van kalksteen. Regendruppels die hier van de rots stromen lossen kleine geultje op.
