Dieser Pfad führt zur emblematischen Stätte der Cars. Diese Überreste sind nur eines der vielen Zeugnisse der Aufwertung des Gebiets zur gallo-römischen Zeit. Sie werden auch durch geschichtsträchtige Weiler kommen: Im Gegensatz zu Ars und seinem reichen Erbe (Brücke, Steinofen, Kreuz ...), symbolisieren die Hütten von Variéras die Erneuerung und Kreativität des Plateaus (diese Gebäude sind nicht zu besichtigen).
