Thisnes is a village in the Belgian province of Liège and a subordinate municipality of the city of Hannuit. It was an independent municipality until it was added to the municipality of Hannuit during the merger of 1977.
Thisnes is the largest subordinate municipality after the city center and is located to the west of the urban core of Hannuit along the road to Waver. It is an agricultural village in Dry Haspengouw primarily focused on arable farming and livestock breeding.
