In 2021, Reizen Waes really put Waasmunster on the map when they participated in the Vesjeskermis here. The annual 'Vestjes en Molekenskermis' takes place during the weekend of the 3rd Sunday of September. The attraction at the fair is the historic water bowl tournament. The folk game, which began in 1885 as an act of sympathy to the family at the death of the local innkeeper, grew over the years into an annual attraction.
