Inconspicuous and somewhat hidden between some meadows and the foothills of the Silsom forest, there lies the Stenen Goot, a remnant of earlier times. The Stenen Goot is an aqueduct that transports the water of the Molenbeek over that of its sister course, the Weesbeek. She ensured that the water from the Molenbeek, after it had fed the Heersem mill in Veltem-Beisem (Herent), could be transported to the water mill of Ter Balkt (Kampenhout).
