Church with remains of the old cemetery on the choir and south side, including a tombstone for the van den Branden family (early 19th century), adjoining car park; located in the village center at the intersection of the roads to Waarloos and Rumst. Around the church, ribbon development of 20th-century two- or three-storey terraced houses and 19th- or early 20th-century workers' cottages of one or one and a half storeys under tiled gable roofs; Plastered frame facades with rectangular wall openings. Parish founded in 1308-09, the right of nomination belonged to the Abbey of Lobbes.
