Terhills Visitor Center - Maasmechelen

The visitor center "National Park Visitor Center" is the main entrance gate of the Hoge Kempen National Park.

It is located on the Terhills Recreational Area. You can park for free at the VVV Maasmechelen parking lot, or at the Maasmechelen Village shopping center.

You can go for:
*information about the Hoge Kempen National Park, and purchase of walking and cycling maps.
* well-deserved drinks and ice cream after a nice walk (pick up at the bar, sit on the picnic benches (no seats inside)). Please note: no cash payments possible!
*an ascent of the shaft block with a beautiful view (free).
* toilets are open.
* playground (playground) is open.
* dogs are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash.
