The two-story residential and commercial building at Schwelmer Straße 8 in Wuppertal-Langerfeld was constructed around 1785, while the rear southern part, partially plastered, was built in 1677. The half-timbered house is clad with shingles and covered with a hipped/gable roof that slopes toward Schwelmer Straße. The framework is visible on the front eastern part of the facade. On the ground floor facing Schwelmer Straße, there is a storefront that is accessed via a four-step outdoor staircase. The entrance door is flanked by narrow windows.
