The Regional Natural Park Marais Poitevin is located in the French regions of Pays de la Loire and Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It extends over the departments of Vendée, Charente-Maritime, and Deux-Sèvres, with a west-east stretch of about 80 kilometers. To the west of the nature park, the coastal region of the Atlantic directly connects with the Marine Nature Park Estuaire de la Gironde et Mer des Pertuis.
