A beautiful adventure in the Domaniale forest of Croix-aux-Bois, marked by troubled landscapes and numerous small springs.

(D/A) In front of the church, Place de Termes
(1) Start to the right of the starting panel and go to the left of the church, crossing the height of the village by continuing straight. At the exit of the village, a large junction, go straight on RD15 towards Grandpré. Ride on D15 for about 500m.
(2) Leave the RD and turn left onto a path between the fields. Always follow this path, passing near a pond, continue to follow it, it goes steeply up on the left and reaches RD41 above.
(3) At D41, turn right and let yourself go down to the intersection with D946. Cross carefully and catch the path in front. Always go straight up to the Domaniale forest. Enter the forest and always stay straight on the path. Never deviate when a fork appears.
(4) Turn right on a descent. Arrive at an intersection with the beginning of a white path, go straight on this white path and descend to the paved forest road of Mariage. At this road, take a right and follow its bends without leaving it.
(5) Leave the paved road completely, turn left at the hairpin and go straight up. Upon reaching the plateau, continue straight.
(6) Do not miss the fork, on a technical descent with a slight slope at the edge of the Domaniale forest. You need to slightly turn to the right. After the descent, the path climbs, slightly veers to the right, then opens onto a plateau before descending steeply straight down.
(7) At the intersection, turn left and continue straight ahead.
(8) Turn right at the perpendicular among the trees on a descent, cross a small stream (depending on the season there may be more or less water). After the stream, perform a left - right and climb back onto the path towards the forest road of Grand Bourgogne. At the road, turn left and travel about 150m along it.
(9) Leave this road by turning right to climb into the woods (about 1.3 km ascent). Move along this winding path without leaving it, until you reach the forest road of Petit Bourgogne above on the plateau.
(10) At the intersection of the forest road of Petit Bourgogne, turn left then right 200m further where a connection with GR®14 occurs. Ride on GR®14 until the next intersection.
(11) At this intersection, turn left, then immediately right 40m after. Continue straight ahead.
(12) Recover the forest road of Rocan by turning left at its junction then continuing straight, pass the forest barrier of Rocan and begin a descent of about 1 km.
(13) After crossing the watercourse, arrive at this junction turn left and climb about 600m always on this road.
(14) Turn right onto the straight path and continue straight ahead.
(15) At the limit of Domaniale forest, at the top of the slope, turn left.
(16) It is at this intersection that the variant is possible, continue straight until reaching the paved forest road of Mariage.
(17) At the forest road of Mariage, turn left, go 100m and engage left into a grassy descent below the forest road. Make a large descent.
(18) At this new intersection, turn right. Continue straight ahead, the path follows a stream at the bottom of the valley.
(19) Arrive at the place called La Source, accessible from a small dead-end path. To continue your journey, climb back to the right on the forest road of Mariage.
(20) In the large bend, turn left and take a path bordered by a cliff of clay. The climb then arrives at an intersection, take left.
(21) Turn right, then left to make a large descent.
(22) At the forest road of Bois de Ham, cross the vast parking area and go straight.
(23) Turn left on a small steep descent before arriving at the pond of la Demoiselle where it is possible to picnic. Follow the pond and reach the other shore.
(24) Go right to climb towards the forest road of Chêne Pâté above.
(25) At the forest road, turn left and ride for about 800m before the next intersection.
(26) At the crossing, turn right then immediately right a few meters later to return into the woods. Continue straight ahead on the flat plateau and then slightly veer to the right on a descent of about 1 km. At the end of the descent, turn right.
(27) Attention hairpin turn, go right then directly left on a path below. This section remains wet for part of the year. Continue straight ahead. Pass at the level of a watercourse then slightly ascend towards the exit of the woods to regain the forest road of Chêne Pâté.
(28) At the forest road of Chêne Pâté, continue straight. The road makes a loop before arriving at an intersection.
(29) At this large intersection between the forest road of Chêne Pâté and that of Noue Marion, move into the intersection then turn left to continue down the forest road of Noue Marion to its end while making all the loops of this road without leaving it.
(30) At the end of the road, engage right onto the descending forest path. Continue straight down, at the exit of the woods follow this path straight between the fields then continue straight to Beaurepaire. Cross Beaurepaire until reaching the road.
(31) Cross the departmental road D946 carefully and ascend the path in front. After a long climb, it turns left then right at the edge of the woods. Continue to climb straight ahead until the entrance of the wood of Sarte. Ride straight through the woods.
(32) At an intersection, turn right. After a few meters on the flat, the path takes a descent that then leads to a forest road. At the intersection with the forest road, turn left to completely ascend it and pass the forest barrier. Follow it further to reach a small road.
(33) Turn left onto the road, it descends in a loop to the village of Termes, where you will find your starting point.
