Diekirch is a town in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with about 6000 inhabitants, located on the Sauer River. The town is the capital of the Diekirch canton and attracts many tourists.
The town has a long history; Roman mosaics can be viewed in the town museum, and the St. Laurence Church is also built on Roman foundations.
The town is also famous for its namesake brewery.
