La diócesis está dirigida por el obispo Richard John Garcia y su catedral es la Catedral de San Carlos Borromeo, la madre iglesia de la diócesis, en Monterrey, California La diócesis atiende alrededor de 200.000 católicos en 46 parroquias y 18 escuelas.
