Il Quartiere dei Milioni di Gand si trova nel quartiere di Sint-Pieters Aalst, un villaggio con una lunga storia. In un passato remoto, questo quartiere fu donato da Dagoberto I all'abbazia di Sint-Pieters affinché i monaci potessero coltivare le loro verdure.
