Guarda bene in alto verso i pioppi dentro e intorno ai Gavers. Nella stagione giusta puoi incontrare qui aironi in allevamento o addirittura cicogne. Nelle alte chiome degli alberi hanno una vista ampia sulla zona circostante. Anche per molti altri uccelli, come il colorato Ghiandaia, i pioppi sono alberi da nido molto ambiti. I numerosi rami laterali e i rami spesso inclinati nella chioma offrono una protezione ideale. Gli insetti attratti dalle (foglie dei) pioppi sono a loro volta importanti per l'alimentazione.
