L'isola balneare di Steinhude è un'isola artificiale sulla riva sud del lago Steinhuder Meer nei pressi di Steinhude, che è stata creata nel 1975.
L'isola si trova sulla riva sud del lago immediatamente vicino a Steinhude. È grande circa 3,5 ettari e quindi circa tre volte più grande dell'isola lacustre e della fortezza Wilhelmstein situate nel lago Steinhuder. L'estensione massima da nord a sud dell'isola balneare è di 220 metri, mentre da est a ovest misura 330 metri. L'isola balneare è stata creata nel 1975 attraverso l'accumulo di sabbia prelevata dal lago Steinhuder. Questo ha portato a un approfondimento del lago nelle vicinanze dell'isola a circa 1,5 m. In precedenza, l'acqua in quest'area era solo profonda fino alle ginocchia ed era attraversata da banchi di canne.
