These old farm buildings have been perfectly restored and maintained. Fortunately, no attempt was made to make a castle with turrets. It is now a beautiful home. The original farm has a long history. The current name Burnt Farm can be found on the old FERRARIS map, with the same name in French. On the Ferraris map, a court/farm was not referred to as Ferme' but by the abbreviation Cse of the formerly common name 'Cense'. These maps were used by Napoleon for less peaceful intentions.
