This is a wonderful, long ride with many meters of altitude through a part of the Belgian Ardennes that is hardly explored by tourists. The ride takes place in the area that is roughly enclosed by a triangle with the points in Hotton, St-Hubert and Rochefort. Here the landscape is beautiful with a lot of variation of forests, fields and meadows, which you can fully enjoy on the quiet, yes often very quiet roads on which the tour runs. While a total of 2230 elevation meters is climbed, the many individual climbs are not really spectacular, especially because the height gain per hill hardly exceeds 150 meters. Le Stoquache, a climb starting in Masbourg, is the toughest one with, among others, a steepest section of 300 meters at 11%.
This ride is the longer version of a 58-kilometer tour through the same area.
Along the way you will encounter the following climbs: Tier d'Aussai , La Chavée , Nassogne-west , Le Stoquache , Tiène des Potîs-northeast , Tellin and Sur Sohère .
